Get a Rebate Real Estate 

Get a Rebate Real Estate is a group of local real estate agents/Realtors nationwide that agree to give you a rebate (part of the commission) when you buy or build with them, and to lower your listing fee when you sell with an instant rebate when selling!

If you are looking to buy, build and/or sell in the 7 county metro area of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul and its surrounding suburbs, you will likely work directly with David Prouty, the broker at Get a Rebate Real Estate.  If you are looking outside of the Twin Cities area, we will find local agents in your area that agree to give the same great rebates and savings!  We contact all of the agents, you just enjoy the savings!

Prouty, has been a real estate agent since 1997 and a real estate broker since 1999. Prouty has won numerous awards and has hundreds of 5-star reviews. He was also a mortgage broker for many years so knows more than normal about the mortgage side of the business.

What is a rebate and how do you get one?  A rebate is a portion of the real estate commission from the transaction.  In most markets, the seller or builder pays the commission to both the listing agent and the agent working with the buyer.  We contact local agents in the areas you are looking to buy, build and/or sell and match you up with local agents that agree to give you the same great rebates. 

Why would an agent want to do that?  Ask any Realtor® what their most costly expense is, and they will tell you marketing to get new buyers and sellers.  On our site, they don’t have any marketing dollars spent if they agree to work with you, so that allows them to give part of their commission back to you that would normally go toward marketing.  It truly is a win-win! The Agent has no upfront costs and still receives majority of the
commission for their services once the property closes and you receive your rebate and/or lower listing fee!

When you Buy or Build, it’s typically a credit to you at closing, so true in your pocket savings since the amount of cash you bring to closing, is lowered by the amount of the rebate. 

When you Sell, we take the rebate percentage and just lower the listing fee commission by that amount, an “instant rebate”!

Bottom line is, you don’t do anything different, and you save money when you use the Get a Rebate Real Estate Group!
